The works explore the different ways of joining concrete/pre-cast concrete in unconventional manners. Six different objects, each having its own character. With different parts of a whole, they are completed by a unique bonding. By joining the parts in various almost inefficient methods, the series review concrete on a different scale and invite the viewer for a closer look at the material itself. The exploration starts with making forms and the testing of mixtures. Through form, texture, tension, and other aspects of the material, concrete, the objects exhibit the possibilities of uses of the material. As a commonly used composite material, Concrete is often applied to large-scale constructions in an unsustainable way. But this sort of weakness presents more possibilities. To examine a material through imagining and creating is a way to reflect and re-think how they are rendered in everyday scenes.
